Eye pressure is checked for all Glaucoma risk patients and every one over 20 years of age. It is now widely accepted that this is not the only reliable way of recognising the early stages of glaucoma. We therefore photograph the optic nerve of the eye with a digital camera. We also plot the cardinal points of the visual field as a matter of routine.
